Certification Overview
The CFA® charter is the most prestigious designation in the field of Finance. It is globally recognized standard for measuring the competence and integrity of Financial Analysts, Portfolio Managers and Finance Professionals. To obtain the CFA® charter, CFA Institute has set different requirements. One is that candidates have to pass three exams referred to as levels I, II, and III. Candidates are admitted to take the next level exam after passing the previous level exam.

Targeted Audience

Duration
Teaching hours up to 300 hours. Includes 240 hours in-class training over the period of 21 weeks, 14 hours per week as well as 36-hour intensive review at the end of the sessions and 24 hours of solving mock exams.

Pre-requisites

  • Have a bachelor degree

–       or be in the final year of your bachelor’s degree program at the time of registration

–       or have four years of qualified, professional work experience

–       or have a combination of work and college experience that totals at least four years (Note: Summer, part-time, and internship positions do not qualify)

  • Understand the professional conduct requirements (you will be asked to sign the Professional Conduct Statement and Candidate Responsibility Statement)
  • Be prepared to take the exams in English
  • Effective 1 January 2011: Have a valid international travel passport (required for enrollment and exam registration).

CFA Exam
